Hello!As a long time Sims fan and game completionist, I'd really like to see Steam achievements for The Sims 4. There's already in-game achievements, and I feel like adding them to steam would make a lot of people happy, especially myself :PIf you're a crazy person like myself (And other people I know), I would definitely purchase any DLC's required just to get that sweet, sweet 100% completion mark on Steam. Adding The Sims 4 achievements to Steam would also give people a goal to work towards, and encourage them to play the game differently to what they're familiar with. Of course not everyone will care about Steam achievements, but there's a large community of achievement hunters looking for the ultimate challenge and I believe The Sims 4 could be that ultimate achievement gauntlet (Especially the 'Legendary Legacy' achievement). Steam Achievements!The only thing keeping me from playing Sims 4 in my steam library is the lack of achievements. Adding them will feel like playing the game for the first time!

The sims has achievements in game, i would love if these achievements were also implemented with Steam or with consoles. I love getting achievement, but i think in game achievement do not feel as nice as having them implemented with steam or consoles. Would it be possible to make the in game achievements implemented on steam and even consoles?

Totally agree! I keep looking up the game on Steam just to see if they've finally been added but sadly not yet! I would instantly buy all the DLC's if there were achievements on Steam, it just gives a better sense of challenge and completion IMO.

Ive been playing sims for as long as I can remember but in recent years I’ve not felt the drive to buy the new DLC’s or replay old content which has been quite a shame. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way.

Something I feel that could encourage me (and possibly others) to continue playing and exploring all aspects of the game would be to add steam achievements. I know there’s in-game achievements and they’re fine, but they just don’t seem to scratch that completionist itch, especially given that they’re only locked to one save file.

I know Steam isn’t EA’s platform so I understand not having the interest to add features to it, but I think from a profitability standpoint, you would get a lot more players (myself included) buying all the DLC’s just to hang up that shiny ‘100% completion award’ on their steam profile for The Sims 4
I’ve seen a lot of threads inquiring about Steam achievements so I think adding them would be a great way to give back to the community and give all those long-term players a reason to reinstall the game. 🙂
