Whelp... I guess I told ya.

I'm pretty sure I've read that most of the stuff being requested that you mentioned actually wasn't as popular as you might think it was. The Sims team look at data/statistics from how much those features was used and a lot of it didn't actually rank as highly as people think it does and that's why it likely hasn't been added into The Sims 4.

Also Cars would really be pointless in a game where most of the houses don't even connect to a road.

New players are also asking for things that are outside the teen game rating. If they actually looked up things using the search feature instead of just making a post it would be great. I know you really want cars, but the data showed that the players used taxis or public transportation more. In the current iteration, we just don't see any public transportation.

Like I said in the post there basing it off of Sims 3 an open world game so of course players didn't use cars when your sim can walked to their destination it was right there where as Sims 2 players were having cars left and right. 

And the survey showed Hotels is the number one highly requested that simmers want in the game and still want in the game. 

What teen pregnancy? That has been asked every year as well lol that's nothing new either lol. 

What I saw as a data Sims 2 simmers had their drive cars because minds were blown that a sim can drive a car heck I was mind blown when playing on console with the Sims Urbz and they were riding a motorcycle literally running up and down a street. Simmers were using cars in the Sims 2 especially it being a closed world. 

With the rabbit hole travel system cars would be kinda useless you’d just be clicking the car to activate the loading screen instead of a phone. I guess you could drive around the neighbourhood like you can ride a bike but that feels like it would just get boring pretty quick unless i’m missing something here.

I love the pool table idea though and I believe darts are in the game already 

More people just used public transportion also in the Sims 2 era. Btw, I have played all the PC Sims titles. I WAS IN MY MID 20'S WHEN the first game launched in 2000. I wouldn't know about the console versions because I always viewed those as way to limiting. I have a PC only franchise preference (Sims) and a console only franchise preference (Story of Seasons).

It wasn't a survey that was being referenced. In the interview, it specified that actually they looked at the analytics transmitted by players.  I predict that infomation must have been transmitted by the players when logging into the Sims 3 launcher. According to the information they learned more players just used a taxi or other public transport since it was easier.

You do know that analytics are being transmitted to them in Sims 4 too. That may be why they think everyone just plays single sims a majority of the time. Sims 4 isn't really friendly to large family/legacy gameplay and I suspect it has to do with internal analytics that the devs can see.

This is a game that children play teen pregnancy will likely never be on the menu

Oh you mean the unofficial survey that was not held officially by The Sims themselves so it doesn't really count?
