In the Sims 2 I don't think this happens? And I find that it doesn't make sense.
Example: your sim had low bladder and hygiene. Your sim automatically adds the action to use the toilet. You also want to add take a shower to their queue. So then they cancel what they are doing to use the shower only? That's incredibly frustrating. Seems like a bug. The queue is designed to be added to because it's a queue.

@testaccount7890I don't know... I always assumed that the user have control over the AI...

@GiardiniDiMarzo I don't like your use of an ellipsis (...) as it comes across as derogatory. It's especially impertinent when you are not correct.
I'm playing the Sims 1 right now and can confirm this is not how it works. Bella Goth just had the AI queue her to prepare a meal, she's doing that and I'm able to add new actions to the queue. She also AI queued washing her hands in the sink and I added an action to play the piano and it was added without cancelling anything. Sims 2 is also like this. - EA_Cade4 years ago

Heya @Anonymous
I've reviewed this with the Sims team and they've confirmed that this is by design.
