[ARCHIVED] Happy Home Login Event: Claimed items disappear

The Log - In Rewards aren't linked to the user's EA Account, after reinstalling the game or removing the usersettings.ini file rom the Documents folder they will disappear and you will lose them. Not to mention that there is a bug in the game that lets people use trait reward which wasn't even available to claim yet and people on the Internet are making piracy mods that let people have all of the rewards without claiming them.

I was able to claim first reward on my PC, but when I logged into game on my notebook to claim the second reward, I was again able only to claim the first one. 

I play sims on my PC and occasionlay on notebook, especialy when I'm not at home for a longer period of time. I won't be able to play on PC for the next 3 weeks so I tougth that I will be able to claim rewards while playing on my notebook but it seems that rewards does not transfer between devices even tough I'm logged into the same account..... which is simply outrageous because it means that I won't be able to acess the same rewards from both devices. And, whats worse, loose all the rewards once I will be forced to switch to newer PC. 

So my question is: Is it bug or featrue? Had anyone run into the same problem?

So, apparently, the "Daily Rewards" are linked to the COMPUTER not the ACCOUNT.

My mom and I share an EA account, and she logged in on her computer yesterday to play a little. She told me about how she apparently got a new dartboard (she's not in the online community so she has no idea about the "daily rewards".) I log in today on my computer to play, and, having forgotten to launch in offline mode, I get the popup to claim the reward. I figure, ah why not, I'm already here anyway, and go to claim what I think will be the necklace, but I get the dartboard...again.

So you're telling me, that these LIMITED TIME AVAILABLE ITEMS are not saved to an EA account, but to the INDIVIDUAL COMPUTERS?! That if I or my mother need to replace our PCs for whatever reason, we will LOSE these, again, LIMITED TIME ONLY THINGS?! This is not okay, I've had to replace my computer twice in the Sims 4's lifetime, and may need to do so again soon, but I will lose access to content I own if that happens.

EA, you need fix this NOW.

I logged in yesterday, May 31st to claim the daily login reward- the dart board.  Today, June 1st, I logged in again and it made me claim the day 1 reward again instead of the necklace.  It seems impossible to reach support.

I loaded the game this morning and got the third event reward. I was experiencing an unrelated issue and verified game files through steam and was missing some, downloaded them, and when I reopened the game it has taken away all of the rewards and relocked them. Mostly posting as a warning to other players that this can happen.

@SuperblySim The rewards are saved in the usersettings.ini in your documents folder. Did you mess with the folder in any way ? Did you loose anything else ?

Backup the file after each unlocked reward.
