I access the Sims 4 via Steam on PC
I have been logging in to claim the rewards for the current event, and in Week 2 I ran into a "Gnomes trying to fix" error, when claiming the first two items of week 2 - the society papers, and the Moonlit Keepsake collectible. The event icon became "greyed out" and I was not able to click on it and claim the rewards. I had waited until I had opened up my save file to collect the items - I had expected the collectible to appear in my sim's inventory as has been the case with previous login and gameplay events. I claimed week 1 rewards in my savefile, without error.
The society papers item has appeared in my game & is purchasable from the BB catalogue. But the Moonlit Keepsake handkerchief has not shown up. I have now logged in 3/3 times in week 2, and all three of the further items of week 2, including the next collectible, have appeared and are available.
The Moonlit Keepsake handkerchief is still not appearing in the BB catalogue. I have filtered by "Event Rewards", and I have tried searching for it by name with no filter.
Problem Solving strategies I have tried, roughly in order:
- Creating a new savefile
- Removing mods
- Updating mods and adding mods back in
- Removing mods
- Opening game via EA app directly and not Steam
- Logging out and back in for both EA app & Steam
- Verifying game files via Steam
- Repairing EA App
- New folder generation in Documents/Electronic Arts by renaming original folder The Sims 4_backup
- Testing a new savefile in fresh folder
- Hoping that it will magically fix itself if I logged in the next day...
- Hoping that the hotfix update would restore it
- Log in and out again
- Gnashing teeth in frustration...
Photos attached show the collectible as "Claimed" at the start of Week 2 (1), and it's absence in BB catalogue (0) (this photo is after the fresh folder of Sims 4 in Documents/Electronic Arts). The next two photos are from later in the week as the rest of the logins worked (3). The Moonlit Keepsake is still not showing up in BB however the games table and the next collectible are in BB (4) (In my regular savefile after restoring my orignal folder & savefiles).

Have you tried contacting support to see if the item is properly unlocked on your account ?
It's showing up fine for me so there could be something off.

Thank-you for the suggestion. No I haven't contacted Support. This sounds silly, but I don't know Where or How do I do that? I couldn't see a link on the EAapp. Is there a link to support in game?

Thanks for the link, I was also unaware it existed. Have claimed all the items successfully except the first 3 which still haven't shown up. Filled out the form, fingers crossed, and hoping for a solution.
