Cafeteria Worker Leaving at Start of High School Day Bug (No Mods/CC)

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing an issue in The Sims 4 where the cafeteria worker leaves at the very beginning of the high school day and doesn’t come back. This makes it impossible for my Sims to get lunch during the school day. This is a relatively new world and everything was running fine initially, it started being buggy randomly.

I don’t use mods or custom content, and my game is fully updated. I've restarted the game, steam, and my pc. I’ve tried repairing the game through the EA app/Steam as well.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Are there any solutions or workarounds?

    This thread is a bit older and is being locked here to make sure info provided or reported is relevant to the current version of the game.
     
    This particular version of the issue should be resolved at this point. If you're still running into the same situation that could mean it's resurfaced in a different form, so please feel free to make a new thread with additional, specific details of what you're seeing so we can take a look.
