Can't make light saber

With both things in your personal inventory click the hilt and select "Insert Kyber Crystal".

I know it's been a bit but I have the same issue, and also you seem to have ignored what OP actually said. They DO click the hilt and the option doesn't pop up. I have the same problem; I see 'your collection of lightsaber hilts/crystals' in my inventory, but cannot separate them nor get any actions to perform when I click either in my personal inventory.

Did you actually want to offer some helpful advice? I'm having the same issue. I have both items in my inventory. I try clicking on either of them and absolutely NOTHING happens. I feel ripped off, and I know EA will refuse a refund even when they know this part of the game is just outright BROKEN for some people. Might have to have a go through my bank at getting a refund...because it straight up just does not work

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.

If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

Don't know if it's this way for everyone, but I figured out how to get mine to work. I have multiple hilts/crystals and it just says 'your hilt/crystal collection'. I clicked the little... I dunno, layers looking icon in the top right of the crystal collection and it opened a new pane with all of the crystals I had. I could then make a saber.

Edit: I have MCCC installed, if that changes things.

YES! Okay I was having the exact same problem. I'm playing on my PS4 but when I highlight the crystal (or hilt), I tapped R2 or R1. A new menu popped up over the Inventory window which opens up the list of items. 

I was only able to do so once I purchased a lightsaber display case.

Love this answer, right up there with reboot and reinstall the game.  🙂

Open the Inventory
Click on the number (white box, top right) of either hilts or crystals

this expands to show the individual items

hover to see the details of each before clicking and adding to the other half of your new sabre

took me way too long to figure this out too.

I might be really really late to the party, but for me it did not work. I had to deselect "multiselect", right above the filter icon in the inventory to get it to work. hope that helps
