Cant Visit Small Businesses with Sims not in Household

I'm having trouble traveling to small businesses with sims that I invite using my phone that are not in my household. They don't seem to be checking in when I press the "check in with group" option. When I press "go here together here" somewhere inside the business they wave a hand in the air and have a thought bubble with the business sign in it. So I'm wondering if there's a different way to get them to check in or if I can only go to small businesses with household members?

Hi! I reported the same issue in Spanish. Issue

My Sims can´t visit other Sims' houses with small Businesses. They must pay the check in, but they can´t "knock on the door" into the residential place or interact with other residential staff.

  • I am also experiencing this problem. If I travel to a small business lot with non-household sims, using the check in together option does not enable the sims I travelled with to enter the business, they will hang around outside. I have tested this with mods and no mods with the same result. My game is upto date and I have tried repairing it.

I'm having this same problem, I will travel with non-household sims to, say for example, the cinema small business that is owned by an entirely different household (that I set up expressly to run the cinema, and I have put them in unplayed households after that set up), and I will click on the ticket booth to select for all of the sims to pay for entry together, and only my sim goes in, while the others stay outside waving (as you have described).

The threads mentioned by rosemow are not connected to this issue.
