Cars?
I've noticed several EA Sims downloads have cars. How in the world do you get a car to you lot? I'm baffled. Or is it only in Sims 3 and not 4?

You can find cars in debug in build/buy mode.
First open the cheat box by using ctrl+shift+c
Then type in testingcheats true
Press enter
Then type in bb.showhiddenobjects
press enter
Type in bb.showliveeditobjects
press enter
Then type in debug in the search bar in build/buy mode
You can then look through the items to find cars
AG8291 Another way to place a vehicle on a lot without having to use cheats is to use one of the toy cars and upsize it using the bracket key.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for your assistance. Now to figure out if I can actually do this. I guess a question for CGrant - what's the bracket key? it does simplify the process.
The bracket key is ] on your keyboard. By holding the shift key and then pressing the ] key, it will make the item bigger. Each time you press the ] key whilst holding the shift key will increase it further in size.
To make an item smaller, hold the shift key, then press the [ key
oh I knew that. Ha ha I thought it was a game thing, however, Rosemow, I did try to locate a car using your method. I found a small assortment of items, but no car among them. now the next method-- using [upsize] correct? I've place a toy car on a pad of concrete already, or should I do anything else. I tried holding onto it and entered upsize in the cheat box. now I know that was incorrect.
So many cheats so little time-
You don’t need to open the cheat box and type upsize. You just need to select the object then, hold down shift key and press ]
This is a link to build that SheriGR has posted that contains many debug cars. You could download it and save the cars from it to use in your game
