Console Players Getting Left Out

Why is it only pc players getting 3 free new packs tomorrow 11/05/2021 what about us console players getting left out. If you’re going to give free packs away they should be for all players & not certain players. ☹️

@merrie2580 Hi. If you're referring of the recent Epic Games promo, it's not EA's idea. It's totally and only Epic Games that did that promo on their own.

@merrie2580 I was concerned about this too but after discussion on another thread I learned that the media release for the Epic free content was misleading. It started with the words "The Sims 4 is making three packs free..." as if it was the Sims 4 making the content free. It's really badly worded, perhaps to get more interest. It actually just caused a bit of a kerfuffle!
But it turns out it's just like any other retail promotion. I've received many free games this way, in fact I just got a free digital version of the latest Forza this week. So that seems fair enough to me.
But in the current situation we face with our controls broken since patch 1.69 and feelings about not being able to bundle on console they unwittingly hit a nerve with console players with the wording used.

I was referring to the free packs being given away by Epic games. It is a promotion. I know we don't get CC or mods. I meant it is unfair they already have access to mods and they are now being given packs. I understand know it doesn't have anything to do with EA.
