@its0lexis I understand your frustration, and you are not alone in that many builders want to be able to build on a diagonal. However, the lack of diagonal stairs is not a bug but is by design. We do have a build mode feedback thread that I'll refer you to, where we've requested diagonal stairs along with many other build/buy improvements. I'll move this thread to general.
