I purchased Lovestruck yesterday and my sim purchased a rental property. It was a location located in the new world that came with Lovestruck. It had an elevator when I bought it, and I purchased it furnished so I left the property and filled the tenancy. Went to do a rental inspection and now the elevator is gone! I tried to place one and I couldn't seem to be able to do that either. I don't know what to do to fix this, please help!

The elevator isn't gone. You added the room with the elevator to the rental unit which means that only when playing as the renter will you be able to see it. In the future you may want to keep it as part of the shared space so you can see it when you visit.
@jpkarlsen thank you. And yeah I figured it out. I had to mark the area as shared so I could use it when I visited because I couldn't go upstairs either when the tenants called me for something. @rekellis here's your reply
what do you mean mark the area as shared? even in free build i couldn’t add the elevator & it wouldn’t let me exit build mode because there was no elevator so i had to exit the game without saving🤦🏼♀️
Does anyone know how to fix this issue with Torendi Tower on City Living? I purchased a 2 floor residential unit and began decorating it. I decorated and left the property multiple times. Suddenly, I came back and tried to save the lot and it said I could not leave build mode because I was missing an elevator. I never added or noticed an elevator in the original floor plan and I didn’t change it around that much. I tried everything to place the elevator myself and it wont let me. I tried to Undo the decorating I had done and that didnt work either. So now im stuck on build mode until I place the elevator.
I'm also having this issue and had to sign out without saving my hours of building. I don't get it either how do you mark the area as shared? since it tells me this is one of the problems. It tells me that I don't own the space I'm trying to put the elevator back where it was before it disappeared. Did anyone help you with this?
