Fear of Dead end job
I think about 90% of my sims have gotten this as of now. Even if some of my Sims are in there ideal careers (my painter sim in the artist profession) seem to just get this fear when it makes absolute...

Anita Sarkeesian probs had a hand in this mess.
I've noticed it day one. I try to ignore it and create my own world there. Thankfully mostly you can. especially with the master control mod. Still I'm probably a minority that likes it better than Sims 3 overall.
