Feedback to Photos Not Changing Relationships fix

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.98.127.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them, no mods.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Take a picture from sims phone with friends.
What happens when the bug occurs? Relationships are not increasing at all!
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the relationships increase rapidly.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Previously, when I took pictures with friends on the sims phone, their relationship status increased rapidly. This was working even yesterday. Now, the relationship status is unchanged when they take pictures together making it incredibly challenging to increase their relationship status in a timely manner.

    @crinrict .. and all simmers are cussing about it, cause that was the one bug no one wanted them to fix. LOL

    I'm experiencing this as well.  NOT a fan, if Crincut was right.  I think an overwhelming majority of simmers didn't want this fixed.  I just started the 100 baby challenge so this is a big annoyance.

    I mean to be fair… it was a bug. Sure, a popularly exploited long-standing bug, but technically not working as intended. 

    I suspect the only people who really cared though were the ones trying to play the photographer career 🤷🏼‍♀️

    I believe there’s already a mod by RubberBand to “fix” the fix however, if anyone’s interested.

    i am on ps4 it take so long to make friends and relationship in the game with out mods and you took away the photos cheats i can do it on please bring it back

    In the recent patch, instead of fixing disappearing plants after reloading lot or infants always stuck on caregiver's feet, instead they "fixed" the big relationship boost that followed after taking a photo or selfie with someone. Now, instead of a double plus sign (++) after taking one, they barely gain anything! I see how it can be annoying at times for people who own Get Famous or the Moschino stuff pack. However, a feature annoying in certain and specific contexts, should not overtake the rest of the scenearios this is useful in.

    @Vixelita I remember this feature. One of the ways to become good friends without have to worried about how the conversation goes, including to your biggest enemies. Sad to hear they removed it.

    also if you want plants not dissapearing you might wanna try mod from LittleMsSam called Gardening Fix or something. it makes your plants always blossoming even though you just planted it for 1 milisecond. For me, It really is a redemption for all the annoyance that I got for seeing my plants dissapeared all the time.

    and for infants, just use reset object on your sims. I guess that'll work for now until they fixed it, which probably took forever.
