Fire starting in toilet since Dec. 2020 update

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.69.59.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Every one of them.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just have someone use the toilet.
What happens when the bug occurs? Fire starts in toilet, doesn't matter if it's a man or woman or child who uses it.
What do you expect to see? See above.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I started noticing sudden fires and didn't know where they were coming from.  My woman was all black from being on fire.  Then later there was another fire.  The toilet and bed were black from being on fire.  Then I finally spotted where the fires were coming from.  My man was peeing in the toilet and a fire started.  Then my boy was and it started a fire.  I removed all mods.  I just noticed it with the last update.

A doctor will ask, "does it burn when you pee?"..... 😛🥳😛  Yes, if you have eco and upgraded your toilet to compost, it will set on fire if it's too full.  Get the insect house, click on the toilet and feed the insects with the compost from the toilet.  That should fix it.

I'm pretty sure doing "instant upgrade" on toilets automatically adds the composting upgrade, which will eventually cause your toilet to burst into flames if you don't realize it was installed.  Not sure if this is a feature or a bug but I noticed it a couple patches ago.  I manually added each upgrade I wanted when I figured out what was happening.

@mosteele1212  What everyone else has said.

If you have the composting container on your toilet and don't remove the compost, it catches on fire.  However, the option to remove the compost only appears if you have an insect farm on your lot.

In order to make your toilet stop bursting into flames (assuming that yes, you have the composting container) you need to either buy an insect farm and regularly empty the container and put what you remove in the insect house, or delete the toilet and buy a new one (individually adding whatever upgrades you actually want).

    I hope that helps!
