For Rent Pack (EP15) Corrupting my Game

Question

I play on PC&nbsp;Okay so I have never had issues with my For Rent pack since I bought it a few months ago. However, all of a sudden my game kept crashing, even when I was in the main menu. I removed my mods; it kept crashing. I repaired my sims via EA app; still kept crashing. Finally, I stumbled across an IG reel telling people that For Rent was corrupting people’s games and EA hasn’t done anything about it. I finally removed For Rent (EP15) and my game hasn’t crashed since.&nbsp;Has anyone been having this issue and is there a way to fix this so I can keep my FR?&nbsp;

Having rental units in your save has been causing issues with save game corruption. This thread refers to the issue.

Try putting back For Rent pack, then reset your sims 4 folder, and test in a new save game and see if the issue remains.

did you have the crashing issues on a particular save only or also on a new one ?
The known issues of save corruption are more an issue of buildings disappearing and not crashing so to be sure, by crashing you mean the game closed itself ?
