Gameplay, Environment, and Pack settings greyed out in Game Options.
Happened right after I started the game after the update.
I have restarted The Sims. I trashed the Localthumbcache. This happens with mods turned off or on.
First time Mods were turned off.
This means I can't choose 'normal' lifespan to prevent my Sims from auto-aging up
@bookgirl021 Have you loaded a save? Some options aren't available while at the Main Menu. You can load into the Manage Worlds screen if you don't want your sims affected.
I'm having the same problem. I removed all mods, even removed all saved games to start fresh. I cleared cache in Sims 4 and Origins to cover all basis but Game Play, Environment, and Pack Settings is still grey
@jferlazzo Again, is this true while you actually have a save loaded?
I'm not 100% sure what you mean but I did load a saved game, then exited to the main menu, went back to options, then game options and gameplay, environment and pack settings are still greyed out

Hi please can you explain what you did to fix this I can’t work it out for love nor money and my daughter is sad she can’t play the sims with access to everything
@madtigeress1981 Some settings are save-specific. You have to select New, Resume, or Load and start a game first to access those options. Then you can access them if you don't exit to the Main Menu first, because then the game doesn't know which save you're applying them to.
