- Psychotps5 years agoSeasoned Ace@MsDebbieB The game itself? Just download and install Origin.
The saved games? I would zip your entire "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4" and copy it over. Run the game once before-hand and just unzip the files into the folder it creates. - @Psychotps I already disassembled other computer I thought I can download the entire thing from off the website and the games I purchased and put it back on my new computer...Uggg ty
- Psychotps5 years agoSeasoned Ace@MsDebbieB Well, you can. But that will only be the game itself. Your saved games won't come across unless you copy them from the path I mentioned in my previous post.
- @Psychotps what about all my expansion packs I bought?
- Psychotps5 years agoSeasoned Ace@MsDebbieB Just install Origin and sign in using the same account you had on your previous PC. Everything will be there. Games, expansions, DLC, everything except your saved games.
Origin isnt allowing me to dl the game...SMH
@MsDebbieB What happens when you click Download? If you get an error, please post a screenshot.
the code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140/dll was not found than reinstalling it....its not even installed
@MsDebbieB That file is part of the 2015-2019 VC++ runtimes, which Sims 4 and Origin both use. So it's best to uninstall your current copies, if you have them, and download new ones from Microsoft.
Click Windows key-i, select Apps, and scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. Click on the 2015 (or 2017, or 2015-2019) versions, both x86 and x64, and Uninstall. (Don't touch the versions from any other year.) Then download and install new versions directly from Microsoft:

You need both the x86 and x64 versions, but you can skip the ARM version, which is for a different class of device. Restart your computer before trying to play.
I dont have current copies this is a brand new computer never had the game installed on it ever
