Get To Work bug

Recently had a new Sim working as a Scientist. Found it to be awesome! Could listen to music while working, really quite interesting to experience from Sims games in past. But there was one task I couldn't do, and I'm not sure if it's a possibility of happening, or it could be glitched. I tried multiple times to find it. The objective involved talking to a co-worker about metal, and getting some off them. But there was no option, even though it instructed to do that on the objective precisely, how to access and where, but no show. Any ideas?

    Hello
    If you have cc/mods in your game, move your whole mods folder to the desktop.
    Delete the cache files
    https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files
    Then start the game and test see if the issues is still there.

    If the issues still remain, repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair

    Try testing with different co workers and see if the option appears.
