[CL] 'Chat about work twice with coworkers' not working

I started my sim on a public relations career who works from home. there is one specific task named “chat about work twice with co-workers” but whenever I interact with a coworker, there is no option whatsoever to fulfill this task.

It suggests to run “gossip about office romance, make fun of corporate goons, brag about job title” etc which I believe is part of the business career. I did some research and seems like this glitch has been going on for some time now.

Help please!

The proposed fix in the Laundry List linking to this post will not fix this issue. The Laundry List says "Sims in the Social Media Career will now automatically meet their Coworkers so that they can perform certain work from tasks." While this will help with tasks like "Brighten the Day of Co-workers twice", the issue described here, which I have also encountered, is that even when talking to co-workers the options the task says you need to run, are not there. The interactions you need to do are only available for Sims in the Business Career, and as we all know you can not have a Sim in more than one career at a time. I'm concerned this will be marked as "fixed" when it isn't.

Sims in the Social Media Career will now automatically meet their Coworkers so that they can perform certain Work From Home tasks. This fix will only occur on fresh saves.

Fixed in Patch 1.120.117/ 2.25
