This is normal, especially if your Sim is a vampire or a werewolf. Sometimes he'll chat with non-Occult Sims.
I did have luck with sending over a werewolf whose spellcaster roomie gave him Potion of Forced Friendship first. He just befriended Greg, but Greg didn't attack him and was willing to chat.
- @xochiquetzl_xkvn But I would befriend him like have him to best freind stage and he would attack me. like no matter how high the freindship and romance bar was at some point he would attack my sim and get them to dispise each other again
