I'm having the same issue.
My programming is maxed out.
I've replaced the X-wing parts.
The first two tasks have been ticked.
This is typical of Sims 4 and EA.
I'm on PS4.
In that case you just need to click on the x-wing and choose to fly the mission.
PS the last part of the mission has nothing to do with programming.
There's no option to do that.
It's simply not appearing.
I am also stuck here. NO option to do anything!
If you have completed all other tasks. Try to move your Mods folder to the desktop and then test the game.

I still don't get the option. I also am a level 5 sergeant for the Resistance but don't get the option to fly the distraction mission I need to do 5 times either. Regretting wasting money on this expansion pack now.
