How to place caught fish in a fish tank?

Hi sims community,

I’m back with another super basic question. One of my sims has the fishing aspiration and one of the goals is to put five fish in a tank, but I’m struggling to figure out how to do it. Even when I click on the aquarium and select open, when I select a fish the only options are favorite, name, or mount. Is it really not possible to do this even though it’s part of the aspiration, or is there some trick I’m missing? I’m on ps4.

You should be able to just click and drag the fish over the aquarium. When you let go, it should appear in the aquarium.
You can use the same method for the fridge if you open it's storage and drag and drop from your inventory.

Follow up question, shouldn’t I be able to place the fish in the fridge so I can cook with them later? Not every fish obviously like minnows and goldfish, but maybe the tuna and bass? There just must be other options besides selling them or mounting their carcasses on my wall.

I wasn’t sure this was possible on ps4, but apparently the square button is how you select and drag stuff over. Quite eccentric, lol, but it’s great cause I can store produce in my fridge now too, which has also been driving me crazy.
Strangely it didn’t count towards the bowling 5 fish goal, but I was able to just buy one bowl and put in and take out various fish one by one to complete it. Much appreciated.
