@lily_wray330 You could do a lot better for your budget than that laptop. The most important component in determining how well a given computer will run Sims 4 (as with most games) is the graphics card, not the processor. While an MX250 could run the game on medium-high settings, you could get a significantly faster card for less money, even in a relatively lightweight laptop.
For example, this laptop is £700 and has a stronger processor than the Huawei model, and a graphics card that would run all Sims 4 packs together on ultra settings. It does only have 8 GB memory, but you could get another 8 GB RAM stick for under £50; even if you wanted to have it upgraded at a store, you'd still save a lot of money. The laptop is heavier, at 2.1kg, but still relatively portable.

This one has the same processor and graphics card as the Huawei, double the storage (a full 1 TB SSD), and is almost the same weight; it does have only 8 GB RAM. It's £900.
The version with a slightly weaker (but still good enough) processor is £800:
This one is apparently even lighter than the Huawei, with a processor that's marginally slower (and equal in gaming) but a somewhat faster graphics card, which is the more important component. Again, it has 8 GB memory, but for £1000, you could upgrade and still save money. It comes in white or blue.

wow thank you that’s a lot of information ahaha. i’ve been looking mainly for like higher ghz as like i kinda thought that made the game run faster but i guess it’s the graphics card which makes sense now but how do i tell how good a graphics card is? it’s a ooo confusing to me like it’s not measured in numbers like other things aha
