I can't figure out how to add CC to the Sims 4

I got Sims 4 recently and I looked up how to add CC to the Sims and when I tried to open the file it said the file was corrupt, I tried it multiple times with different CC and every time it said the ...

Hey @4654345365 to start with let's remove all custom content and then go ahead and repair your Sims 4 game, to repair a game you need to open your My Game Library and then find the game tile and right-click on it. From here select repair and Origin will check your installed files for any issues and should it find any fix them.

Once done launch the game and verify that it is working, if it is then use the guides shared above to add your mods in again.
