I don't have an option to take a pet to vet, sick or not

I have a sick pet, I get a notification that they are sick and should be taken to the vet, yet in all the options I have no option to take to vet, and it appears you can't form a group to take a pet....

Weird. You are sure you can't just bring him with you? Not even to a park or something? If you can bring him to a park, take him to the one close to the vet, so you can travel in-game without using the map.
