Inferniate Spell

Hello! I have a problem with fire in The Sims 4. When I set sims on fire using the inferno spell,they have a burning animation for a short moment,but shortly afterwards they either run away or just stand still and do nothing. The flames simpy diasappear, and the sims don't die.                                                                                       

The same things happens when a spellcaster uses the inferno spell on anohter Sim. The Sim brielfy looks like they are burning, but then suddenly jumps angin and the flames disappear.

I have alredy tried several things to fix this problem. I logget out of the game, reset my Sims using the reset Sim cheat, Icreated a completely new household, and also repaired the game througt the EA app. Unfortunately, nothing has helped and the problem it still happening.

I play on a laptop and I don't use any mods for custom content(CC). The problem also occurs in a completely new household.

I would really appreciate it if someone could looks into this bug and help fix it.
