@GrungyGoth You say that it happens on an old save but that you also tried a new one and still get the issue ?
Was the new one completely new with nothing brought over (no Sims, no houses) ?
Does it happen on all your old saves ?

My apologies, no it doesn't happen with new save just the old ones. It a rather unique infinite loading screen, I'll test out the link. I've removed my mods while trying to figure it out but no luck. I'll try again.
And I don't know if happens with old saves, I'll have to see. The one I'm trying to load is my legacy family.

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.
If that is the case, please upload them to a new post in this thread.
Please either create a .rar file to upload or copy/paste the content into your post.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.
Did you ever find a solution to this? I have just downloaded life and death and am experiencing the same thing.
