Is there a new Cache package file to delete?
After updating my game 2 or 3 (maybe 4) updates ago, I came across a new cache.package file as I went to clear the cache files, as usual. I absolutely don't remember this file from before the update....

After 25/Feb/2025 update, new package file added in The Sims 4 folder, named 'localsimtexturecache.package', this file very huge volume file.
Of course we can delete this file, can't we?
I don't know which tag is best for this topic, so I selected several.

The localsimtexturecache.package file acts as a cache of composited Sim textures, it's used to speed up loading times.
While it IS safe to delete, it will be generated again the next time you launch the game, and has a file size limit of 100 MB.
