Island Living Fish Trap Not Working

I just tried this on the waters in Tomarang. I did have to click place in world for it to set up and I can't remember if that's normal or not.

When I went back to check it, I can't click it and nothing shows up. Did anyone find out what was causing this?

@wildwingsuz @Jimbolame Are either of you playing with mods and CC? If so, have you tested without?

Yes I've tested in a vanilla setup (no mods or cc ever installed).  Same thing.

Hey, I was originally the person with the problem like 3 years ago - it did end up fixing and I don't remember exactly what did it, but one of the following methods will hopefully work. They aren't in order or anything or need to be done together its just what i remember: 

Turn laptop mode on and off.

ctrl + shift + c - testingcheats on

reset object (debug) - (probably won't work)

use sulani traits like child of the ocean etc

repair the game on EA & delete localthumbcache

Most of this if not all will probably not work but I hope it does because I remember how much of a pain it was.

See mine is totally different I go into the water and try to place in world cause ( click and drag didn’t work ) but she just jumps like it’s glitching ( as if I reset object ) and nothing happens I sold the old traps thinking that was the issue but still after buying new traps and exiting game multiple times I’m still getting last exceptions from it and no mods in so I’m just lost
