Laptop for ts4 and school 2021

Hi!

I’m looking for a laptop I can use for studies at university (civil engineer) and for playing the sims 4. I need it to be easy enough to carry around and have a good battery life for school. I don’t have any packs yet, but I want to get some packs and cc in the future. Most gaming laptops don’t fit my school life and I really prefer a more sleek minimalistic design.

I would love some suggestions and insights in how well these two would work for playing the sims 4. I don’t play any other games. Budget is $600-1100, a little flexible.

HP Pavilion 15-eg0036no

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-1165G7
GPU: Intel Iris Xe

Storage: 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

RAM: 16 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM (2 x 8 GB)

Asus ZenBook 14 UX425 Pure 3

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-1165G7

GPU: Intel Iris Xe

Storage: 512 GB NVMe SSD

RAM: 16 GB LPDDR4X

I know none of these have dedicated GPUs, but I honestly can’t find it in a laptop that would fit my school life and not be a super expensive pro laptop. Grateful for your insights!!

  • @MaertaPet  That's definitely a very good option.  Its performance would be a few percentage points slower than that of the Asus Zephyrus due to basic software and settings, but with a 1650 ti, you'd have plenty of breathing room anyway.  Its processor is stronger than the others mentioned as well, although that won't affect Sims 4.

If you like it the best, then there's no reason not to get it.
