NanoCan Problems

The Nanocan Trash Can which usually gives you Simoleans when the sim throw trash in it doesn't work anymore. The trash goes in it but no simoleans!.
It might have happened after I installed the latest expansion and stuff pack.
Does anyone else have this problem?.
