New Tattoo System Is Broken

I am playing the PS4 version on PS5 at the newest update, 2.08. I just downloaded the update, opened my old game and wanted to check out how the new tattoo system worked. The option remained stuck on the first "tattoo category" with the "Open Filter Panel" hint hovering over the middle of the screen. I cannot do anything except Open the Filter Panel in this menu. I cannot scroll through the tattoo options at all, and this is happening in New Games as well. Truthfully, all I have to say is congratulations, The Sims Team and EA, at least you can ruin things consistently!
