no creator code option for preorder

I just preordered the Life and Death expansion pack for Sims 4 and wasn't presented the option to enter a creator code/ promo code/ anything like that. It says the purchase is complete which leads me to believe that I won't receive that option later either. 

Will the option show up when it's time to download the pack? Can EA go in and apply it now? Do I have to cancel this order and re-purchase it AFTER release in order to apply the code?

    Hey @jsophiak , I just tried it on my side and it worked out, you need to add the code to the "Apply a promo code" section (even though it's technically not giving you a discount). See here:

    (excuse the French screenshot haha, I used my personal account)

    If you want to use the creator code to support someone, you can cancel the pre-order and do it again. Just note that the creator code doesn't give you a discount, but it supports a specific creator.
