i just updated the game cuz i have not played in almost a month, and only updated 3 mods, before when i played it NEVER did this to me, now it wont let me play a household, i click play on my household and it boots me to the world select screen, i even tried to make a new game and it still does it.
Even does it without mods, and i even tried to repair the game, on the sims 4 discord i see a lot of people having the same issue, and they even tried reinstalling the game and NOTHING has worked. what is going on? is there more people having this issue?
What did you try yet ? Did you try renaming your user folder ?
If not, please do so:
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.Does It Work
I'm having the same issue i keep getting the world selection after i updated my game & got rid of the bad mods i have a test save with a family that i'm trying to use for this problem but it keeps happening this has never happened to me before🤬
