my sim is a mermnaid.She is a vampire because she can't sleep in bed(i need a coffin to sleep).She don't have a vampire trait.How she can sleep in bed?

@MirandaKosarin I have a lot of issues with my mermaid sim who is technically half alien. Was your sim ever a vampire or does it have a vampire parent?It was suggested to me that I should have my mermaid eat kelp and turn her into a regular sim to see if she turned half alien. Maybe try that and see if she’s somehow a vampire under the tail?IDK if this is even your problem, but I’ve also been having a lot of problems with removed sim and lot traits still “working” after they’ve been removed. Maybe that is part of the problem?Sorry if this isn’t any help. It’s just what was suggested to me at one point.

My best guess is that it’s the same problem I’ve been encountering with traits not removing correctly from sims and lots. I have read that there’s not really a workaround, but I’ve also read that saving them to your library and reloading them into your game can get rid of the old traits that are applying incorrectly. I haven’t tried the library thing because it seems like that would cause an issue with collections and family relationships, but if you want to try it might work. I’d suggest saving to a new save file in case something goes wrong though.If you do try saving to the library and reloading the sim into your game and everything goes fine, would you let me know? These old traits that have been removed but are still “working” make it a bit frustrating to play my game.
