Problems with Careers

I need some help here.  I have tried to play the Doctor, Police, and Actor Careers but I have run into a problem.   In the Doctor Career the game allows me to examine and diagnose patients but when I go to treat patient it shows up and then it cancels itself.    In the Police career I can`t arrest the suspect. and in the Actor career I can get hair and makeup done but it doesn`t check off as complete on the task list.  I have a few clothing mods and the **bleep** along with animation and I am playing on PC. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it didn`t work. Can anyone help me?
