Random work events always wrong? How to disable it?

My sim is a Computer Engineer and there is only one random event that always keeps popping up about streamlining safety measures and I've tried picking the same answer every time, and I always get a large performance loss, and I've also tried to pick a different answer every time and it always result in a large performance loss also.

Is there a way to fix this or jus to disable this random event for good? It must be a bug and It is really making it harder to progress in the career if every a couple of days I have a large performance loss.
