@aodoherty hmm, that's kinda weird. Yeah, but it takes a LONG time to get 'brave' the regular way, no codes or slash commands or anything. I suppose there probably is a slash command to buy traits. I can't recall how you get that fear 'normally' though? I don't recall any of my sims ever getting it. Wouldn't it be a weird thing if a Mermaid or Merman got fear of the ocean, they would totally be mismatched since Mermaids need water (I don't know if this has ever happened, or a Plant sims afraid of the day, like ....hmm wonder if you could have both a Vampire sims (with day phobia and also be a plant sims hmmm....or does the game only allow one type only, but no hybrids, normally without mods (I'm sure there's plenty of mods that may alter lots of things). But it would seem kinda too hard for special sims to have these negative traits as your characters would be sad or miserable most of the time and it would limit their game play for sure. But I just wondered as I was thinking about it.
