Re: Can you modify exterior structural details of City Living Apartments?

@LeissaMyst   The apartments you are referring to in Sims 4, you can't modify any of the exterior walls or windows. Everything inside your individual apartment (for the most part) can be removed and changed.

There are a couple of things in specific apartments you can't change... like some lot traits, a couple of objects in specific apartments... etc. But you can bulldoze the interior and all the interior walls will be removed so you can do it yourself. Just nothing exterior.

As for elevators, I'm not 100% sure but I think they only showed up with City Living. I can't recall elevators being anywhere else in the game.

@Psychotps Really? I thought I saw them (elevators) in the University Pack (I forget the exact name - but it's the one that mirrors Sims 3 University Life from what I've seen) Anyway - Thanks for the quick reply. I will mark this as an acceptable solution. And I'm assuming the ones they showed on the video were not apartments but classified as "Penthouses"?

You're right about University, forgot about those.

Penthouses can be completely redone. I think there are three in San Myshuno. If you bulldoze it you get a flat area to build.

The only other exception is the smaller apartments with balconies. You can actually re/move the wall separating the apartment and the balcony, make the balcony bigger or (kinda) smaller. You just can't move the existing exterior railing.
