I just started a new save, and when I went to use money cheats to download a house, it would not work. I initially tried "Motherlode", and when it did not work, I tried "Rosebud", and that did not work either. I tried to do some research and even tried "Money5000" and still, nothing. Of course just to make sure I tried all efforts, I even "testingcheats true". this did give me a "Cheats are enabled" in the queue, so I tried all the cheat codes again, thinking maybe it was just because this was off, but still nothing worked.

    Cheats are working fine in my new save - are you using any mods & are any other cheats working?

    Like if you shift-click your sim or the mailbox etc in Live mode does it bring up any cheat options (like the below) that would show cheats are still enabled?

    You're right you do need to turn testing cheats on for new saves before any of it would work. Also you'd need to add a space after "money" for your "money 5000" cheat to work :)

    Hi! I have never played with mods! I don't use any of the other cheats, so I did not try them. Also, sorry for the spelling error, but I did know about the space and definitely entered it correctly in the box.

    Hello crinrict​ !  I had tried the cheat in live mode (I paused the gameplay while I typed everything in), and when that did not work I tried it in build & buy, which also did not work.

    jocrubio did you enter build/buy mode through the manage world map? Because Money cheats, for whatever reason, dont work if you had. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Motherlode should work in build mode/live mode when you have an active family. Like, load family first, then enter cheat. It doesn't need any cheats

    Money should be Money 5000 and not Money5000 so maybe that's why that didn't work. It needs testing cheats.
