Reaper Quests won't show up

I started the quests just fine when they first started but after I logged out then back in at a better time it just shows the tab to look at the rewards and the quest I completely but the other is no...

Otherwise, does it help to move accountDataDB.package out of Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4? Do NOT delete this file, which holds the data from the first login rewards event; just move it, temporarily, somewhere else. Then load your save again, or start a new one, and let the game clock run until (if) you get the event-related pop-up, which does take a bit of time.

For anyone whose event still doesn't show at all, not even a Grim icon, please use this master thread:

the first two things did not work, but taking that file out worked! It didn't even take away all my progress. It kept my rewards and kept the one quest completed, the only thing "negative" was that it restarted one of the quests, but i hadn't gotten too far into it anyway so I' taking this as a win lol thanks so much for your help!!!

When do we put the accountDataDB.package file back into its regular place? And THANK YOU, this finally worked!

  sim_michele When you've played through the tasks and/or collected all the rewards, whatever your current goals are, you can delete the new accountDataDB and restore the old one. The idea is that the old one isn't currently getting along with the Reaper event, so don't use it again until you're done with the event for the week.

    Please can I clarify when to put the original accountDataDB.package file back? I have removed the file accountDataDB.package and reloaded the game, this has solved the issue but it restarted the tasks from the beginning. I then saved the game and replaced the new accountDataDB.package file with the original file, loaded the game and it reverted to the tasks not showing up. So am I assuming I need to restart the event again, complete all the tasks and then replace the file and it will let me claim tasks? I had assumed putting the original file back in would update the tasks I have completed.

  aromany85 cicelade Consider your original accountDataDB.package bugged, for now, as in, it won't cooperate with the event. That's not fixable from the user side, although EA may patch the issue. You do need to keep the file if you want the first login event rewards, but otherwise, you could delete it entirely.
  
  Whether you want to keep the file or not, it cannot be present while you're working through the Reaper event, at least until there's an EA-side fix. When you're done with the event, or done for the week, you can put the original back.
  
  The other important point is that in the end, all that matters about this week's login event is that you earn the reward items. That in turn is tied to your account, NOT any user file. So once you've earned the items already, you can ignore any brokenness related to the event, at least until the next week's tasks are available. The tasks are only there to help you earn points to spend on the rewards; these tasks will have no meaning once the week is over.
