Sims 4: Community Lots and Houses Missing or Invisible

Hi Every time I move a Sim into a House already made on the Sims 4, it is just a blank lot whereas on the Map it is a house and when My sim travels to a community lot, once again the lot is blank? ...

Are you using custom content or mods in your game ?
Did it ever work for you or was it like this from the start ?
Is it the same if you build your own house ?
What do Sims do when you let them act on their free will on the lot ? Do you have the feeling they can do stuff and it's just invisible to you or do they just stand around ?
Are you on a PC or Mac ?

1. I haven't used any custom content or mods.
2. Has only recently happened, been like this since the new update.
3. If I rebuild my house and the community lots they work.
4. Sims can walk around the empty lot but there are no objects etc so all my sim does is walk around and talk to other sims on the community lot.
5. I have an Acer laptop

  Could you start a new game for testing purposes to see if you have the same issue.

if a lot appears ,i build on it. after ther are no more lots like sims 1, 2 and 3. sims 4 is for university level. what happens when the kids grow uo
