Sims 4 Gallery Upload Issue

Hello,

I keep trying to upload my sims to my gallery so I don't lose them when I restart my game, but it won't allow me to. It says I have a disallowed name and I assumed it was because my last name is Hicks, which is really my last name. But I went ahead and changed the names and I still can't upload them. I really need help because I want to save all my Sims so I can redo my game and remove some mods, which messed up my businesses. Is there a work around, or can any staffers help me get it to allow my sim.

@JocelynHicks Can you please share a screenshot or the entire text of the description and names of all household members - first and last, including pets? Thank you. I've had several times that users have posted with this issue and in the end each time there was a particular term or name that was flagging the error. I am happy to help you find it, but please understand it's likely to be a term or name that makes no sense to you for a flag, but the thing is that these terms get flagged on a worldwide meaning basis - slang and otherwise - that will never make sense entirely to someone from a different country than some of the term issues come from. Hope that makes some sense. Anyway, if you would like to send that information I'm happy to have a look.

Ahhh, that actually solved my issue. I forgot to change the cat's last name too. It was definitely my last name that it was flagging. Its kind of offensive that it does that though, because its literally my last name. lol. oh well, I can change it back when I reinstall everything. Thanks again, your reminder made me remember to check the cat haha.

@JocelynHicks I'm so glad to hear that you found the issue and were able to resolve it! Don't be offended at a flag of the name since there are so many terms (and names) that have a cultural meaning or slang meaning in one culture that can have absolutely nothing to do with another culture. And some seem so random or malicious. <sigh>
