Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack - Sceance table not working

Hello I recently got the Paranormal Stuff Pack, but the sceance table seems not to work at all. When I click it I get all the options but when I try to queue them it dosen't work. My Sim makes a stut...

What medium level is your sim at? What options do you see when clicking on the table?

    Still 0, can't even acquire the skill.
    The options are "Sense Spiritual Volatility", "Commune With The Departed" and "Perform Ceremony"

    Did you cheat to get a license? Try "Commune with the departed" this should be the only one available to you when you have no medium skill. Do not queue up anything else.

    @jpkarlsen Never queued up anything else, I didn't cheat for the license and I do not have it. I tried all the options before and reset the sim afer each option.

    @Cainmy 

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save. See if a sim can use the seance table. Consider getting the complete seance set instead of the individual items Not that it should make a difference I just find it easier to do that.

    As already metioned in my orginal post, I moved all my mods out of the folder, deleted localthumbcache and also already repaired my game. Nothing seems to work.
    I used the pre-made room, I used a pre-made house and it still doesn't work... It seems like the animation just breaks and then it doesn't queue up.

    I also now made a new Documents folder (renamed the old one and let the game create a new one), and it still breaks. The animation makes a short move and then my sims goes back to normal

    @Cainmy Did you move your saves folder back into the newly created The Sims 4 folder, or just the individual saves. Some mods put settings files in your saves folder, you need to make sure those are also removed when you remove your mods. 

    Also, as an aside, I've never needed crystal ball to use the séance table, I always thought it was just for show. I rarely use one (the sim below doesn't have a crystal ball on the séance table).

    I made a new save with the "fresh" game and it still would not work at all. With or without the crystal ball. That's what I don't understand.
