sims freezing not following commands

i’ve seen a bunch of people from months ago saying they’ve had the same issue, sims freezing as soon as you join the game and not following commands, i can’t switch to different sims unless i pause but even after i pause and it switches the sim still doesn’t do the activity they just stand there. it’s been like this for 2 days for me i expected it to be fixed by today but seeing that’s it’s not is kind of upsetting, i’ve tried repairing the game and resetting sims using cheats etc.i don’t use cc or mods so i’m mostly certain at this point it’s a bug that EA needs to fix, the updates always ruin my game :(
