sims won't interact after update

None of my sims will interact with each other after the last update and I bought a bunch of packs. I see the options/ tasks when I click on the sim and the action will be queued to happen but then it disappears, I have removed all mods, tried deleting the sims I had made and that seemed affected, debugging the sims and started a new game with only base game items but it still happens. I removed all mods, repaired and patched my game please help☹️
