So the LATEST update DELETED A WHOLE TOWN in my game!

Just like before, I am very unhappy with Sims 4 updates being forced on the players of the game.

I tried disabling automatic updates in Origin. This does literally NOTHING as I get a message saying "game unplayable until update is installed."

So basically the only option you're giving me is to destroy my game in some way, or completely lose the ability to play it at all. I have NO choice, in other words.

I don't enjoy paying 50 dollars or more on your products just to have you people unable to LEAVE ME ALONE to enjoy my game in peace.

Thank you for deleting 800 hours of sim progress with your latest update you're too lazy to debug first. I'm sick of having to spend hours repairing my games and deleting bugged files almost EVERY fricken time I want to play the game. I spend more time frustrated with this bullcrap than I spend PLAYING the game.

If this continues, I'm just going to refund my money, and I'm SURE I'm not the only customer who feels this way. This is bloody ridiculous. It's also pretty convenient how nobody responsible for damaging my game seems to bother responding here to help requests.

  • @DallasNeedsAD  If you sign into Origin and then put it in offline mode, you should be able to play without updating.  That's what I do when I don't want an update.

Is there a problem with one of your existing saves you'd like to troubleshoot?  It would be a shame to lose so much progress.
