We need seperate options to disable features.

Right now there is an option to enable/disable lifestiles and whims& fears but not for sentiments. Whims & fears cant be disabled beyond the current session. The best method is to create individual options for all four. Lifestyles, whims, fears, sentiments.

Why?

Lifestyles are bugged.

Sentiments are annoying notifications that have zero impact in my game.

Whims are rather passive and often something that ruins the theme of the household. I refuse to call them wants because my sims dont want completely random interactions with  strangers.

Fears are detrimental to the game and bugged.

Right now its difficult to enjoy the game the way we want because so much is broken. Seperate options would help alot.

  • @Zasz_Zerg Agreed. There are features here that are added to our games and though some may enjoy the challenges they bring...others may not like the effects of a new feature they never asked for. I took off Lifestyles as it caused too much disruption to my Sims moods and Neighborhood Stories as when I finish a household I leave them in a happy and settled state and don't want random disruption from an outside source. I want total control over my creation.
When a new feature starts out it is inevitably bugged so sometimes you might just want to turn it off until it's worked out the teething problems.
So more game options would be good.
  • I would say all of those need to be separate options plus they need to add an additional option for whims. Some people preferred whims to wants (there’s literally a whole discussion topic here on answers HQ called “bring back whims” or something similar). Wants, fears, sentiments, lifestyles and whims should all be separate options that can be used at player preference/discretion. Some people love some but not others. I personally like sentiments in most of my saves but can see why they could get annoying and have a couple saves when I might prefer having them off.

the sims 4 is all about customizing your experience to have the challenge level and excitement you want. These options couldn’t come soon enough honestly.
