Does this make TS4 Racist by design? (Sorry old World of Warcraft-style Joke; you get it once you think of occults as "Races"...) I swear, they make great strides in lands of gender equality but remove racial Hybrids; does this not disturb anyone else's world views? We're supposed to be making a better world...not a repetition of the same old stuff!
Jokes aside - it'd be a lot less than whatever number they quoted for 7 "Main" Races...I think the "real" number is something like 34 (assuming you limit hybrids at the "Half" level - basically anything more diluted in blood/genetics than 1/2 of a species is a full human). And if your going to remove features "Just because it's buggy" Why don't you just take down the whole of the Get Famous Expansion while your at it :P
Edit For Clarity: I have nothing personally against Get Famous - other than it cross-references about 80% of the bugs I've searched when I don't even OWN it. This alone tells me it's a trouble maker...and I don't want any thing to do with it; it may or may not be the case that I eventually actually end up buying it - time will tell.
@LeissaMyst, technically the different Supernaturals in the game are not "races", since you can do something to turn yourself into one. These supernatural beings are really just in a different state than other Sims. Being a Vampire in the game means that you are in a vampiric state, and the same goes for Mermaids, PlantSims, etc. The only exception are Aliens, but then again that isn't a different race either but a whole different species, or being! ⭐
And yes, they took out the hybrids because they were very glitchy! It was not too bad at first, but the more supernatural states we get in the game, the more chances for glitches! 😞
I also enjoyed experimenting with hybrids in the game.🥳 I had a large family with an Alien father and a Vampire mother and 5 children! So I am sad to see this go, but I also understand why they needed to change it! 🤨
